Children of St. Mary's

In an effort to to ensure proper care and consideration when dealing with this preciouse group of parishaners the Vestry worked hard to develp a policy for St.Mary's regarding providing safe and appropriate supervision of our young people.  The policy is now that any adult assisting with the Sunday School to have training in Safe Guarding God's Children and the lead teacher for Sunday School to undergo background and child abuse checks through the state of Pennsylvania.

With the Sunday School year beginning in September, the children participate in a childrens sabath each 5th Sunday of a month.  The children of the church continue to collect and support the Heifer International Program.

The nursery continues to grow and can have up to 8 little ones in attendance any given Sunday.  The Godly Play classroom continues to expand its stories and activities and has 3-4 weekly members.  The pre-teen class continues to study varieous aspect of the bible and has 2 regular young people in attendance.  All of these are carried out with the extra help and effort from many others who volunteer and assist with the nursery classroom each week.
